TOURMALINE
October birthstone
The name Tourmaline comes from the Singhalese words “turamali”, which loosely translates to “stone with mixed colors”. Tourmaline comes in every color of the rainbow and according to old Egyptian legend, tourmaline, on its long journey up from the center of the Earth, passed over a rainbow and assumed all the rainbow colors.
Metaphysically, Tourmalines are one of the most powerful and healing gemstones. The resonant energy of tourmaline relates to each of the chakras according to its color.
Tourmaline can be used to attract inspiration, diminish fear by promoting understanding, and encourages self-confidence. It acts to clear, maintain and stimulate each of the energy centers of the body.
Tourmaline provides a balancing of male/female energies within the body and further provides balancing of the mind. It is thought to bring healing powers to the user and to provide protection from all dangers occurring on the physical plane.

All our copper rings are left without treatment, so you can benefit from it's healing properties.

Bright copper has a lustrous shine and will darken over time. Just wipe with a jewelry cloth to brighten it up again. Jewelry cloths are available in the Other section of the shop.

Aged copper gives the ring an antique look it will brighten over time, leaving you with a beautiful natural and shiny aged ring. The copper is dipped in Liver of Sulfur and polished to give it a gorgeous dark patina.
